Blow Away Hunger brought in record-breaking donations for the Salvation Army in Portage la Prairie. Major Brenda Hammond says that the team of people involved made it a great event.

In total, the Salvation Army has roughly 500 kids on their list this year. Families are supposed to be able to come and pick out two toys for each child to open on Christmas Day, meaning that Toys Days is starting to reach at least 1,000 toys total.
