Golden West acquires Summit Organizational Development
Steinbach, MB: Golden West is excited to announce it has purchased Summit Organizational Development (Summit), a local provider of strategy, human resource, and leadership and team development solutions.
The acquisition will strengthen Golden West’s ability to be the trusted, local expert on an expanded suite of solutions for businesses in Canadian communities.
“Our missions are aligned,” says Chief Operating Officer, Carter Friesen. “We need to continue to adapt to support our ability to serve communities – by helping our customers grow. In our experience as a customer of Summit, they have a comprehensive local approach that works. We are excited to welcome Steph, her team, and their customers!”
Steph Wiens, President of Summit, will continue to oversee the group as a part of Golden West’s executive team, while Jody Milburn becomes General Manager for Summit. Summit and its employees will continue to operate normally as both groups determine how to expand Summit’s product offering across communities that Golden West serves.
